Senior Financial Controller /Monaco MC

DEPARTMENT: Finance Department

LOCATION: Monaco

ROLE: Senior Financial Controller

DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Financial Controller in our Finance Department. The new resource will join our Financial Planning & Control team, and will be mainly involved in the following key activities:

  • Support the Company’s decision-making process with ad-hoc financial analysis, simulations, and business cases.
  • Annual budgets, quarterly revised forecasts, and business plans.
  • Cost control and variance analysis on the Company’s main financial data.
  • Detailed analysis of the Company’s quarterly financial results and support the preparation of the “Management account report”.
  • Support the preparation of the Company’s financial statements (IFRS), with particular reference to the “Report on Operations” and the “Financial Review” sections.
  • Support the preparation of the risk management reports.

EXPERIENCE AND RELEVANT SKILLS

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in audit and/or consultancy in firms will be considered a plus.
  • Previous experience in public traded companies will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and Tagetik will be considered a plus.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of Italian will be considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving capabilities and result-driven approach.
  • Team player approach.
  • Excellent communication & reporting skills.
  • Time management and ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Pro-activity.
